Sometimes our emails might end up in your Spam, Junk or Promotions folders.
We asked some Rogue Artificers why, and despite hitting things repeatedly with a hammer and uttering some sacred artificer curse words, they concluded that it is just one of life’s unsolved mysteries.
However, never fear! The solution to this problem is thankfully rather simple. All you have to do is safelist us. It works most of the time...

How to safelist our emails from going to your spam folders.
Step 1: Add george@overlondon.net to your address book, contacts, whitelist or safe sender’s list.

Step 2: Move the email from Spam, Junk or Promotions to your Inbox and tell your email program it isn’t spam.

For Gmail users: Gmail has its little quirks, so we've added some extra instructions here for you with some handy diagrams for good measure.
Safelisting in Gmail
Add Us to Your Contacts.
Open the email and hover your mouse over the email address (i.e. george@overlondon.net). Or click the circle left of the address on mobile.
When the box appears (see diagram below), click the button that looks like a person making a rude gesture (now I’ve said that, I can’t unsee it). If you see a pencil instead, then it’s already added.
Identify your Spam and Promotions Tabs in the Gmail interface.

Rescue Our Email

If our email is in the Promotions tab:

Drag from the Promotions tab to the Primary tab. On mobile select the message, then move it to the Primary tab.

Say “yes” to the popup asking if you want to do this to all emails.
If our email is in the Spam tab:

Open the email and click one of the buttons that say the email is not spam.
